The Sunday Institute is a day of professional learning offered as part of the North Carolina Reading Association (NCRA) Annual Reading Conference. It is designed to provide in-depth, focused literacy sessions that educators can choose from before the main conference days.

Structure of the Sunday Institute
The Sunday Institute is divided into two session blocks, and participants select one session per block.
Session Block 1: Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Session Block 2: Time: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Adolescent Literacy: This Is Your Brain on Reading

Explores how the adolescent brain processes reading and what this means for instructional practice.
Empowering Creativity with the Power of Three: Rhythm, Music, & Poetry
