Welcome to the North Carolina Reading Association’s Website!

NCRA is a nonprofit organization that promotes literacy and lifelong learning.

This website was launched in 2013. Navigate the site to obtain information about the Association’s mission and goals, its members, LEADERS, local COUNCILS, AWARDS and GRANTS, and special projects, such as YOUNG AUTHORS.

The N.C. Reading conference takes place each year during March. Submit a proposal, register, learn about presenters, find out how to sign on as an exhibitor, and much more under CONFERENCE.

Join the state organization through local COUNCILS that serve your area and receive the full benefits of MEMBERSHIP.

No council in your area? Contact NCRA’s leaders if you are interested in joining with others to establish and lead a local council in your area. You may also join NCRA, the State Association, by completing forms on the website.
